Founder

Mat is a seasoned professional and the driving force behind MRN Excavations. Mat’s interest in the field was sparked at a young age, observing his father’s work and learning the ropes of machinery operation. His early passion for the industry evolved into extensive hands-on experience, earning him a reputation for expertise and dedication in the field. He harbours a profound love for animals, especially dogs, and in his leisure, enjoys smoking meat and playing golf.

Stephanie Neal

Admin All Rounder & Labourer

Steph is MRN Excavations’ all rounder, handling everything from admin to hands-on as a labourer and right-hand woman. Growing up on a farm and being part of a family-owned business, she has a unique understanding and appreciation for operational machinery and a love of animals. Steph maintains our seamless operations and ensures our services meet the high standards that our clients expect.

Our Journey

Mat started his career in landscaping, progressively broadening his expertise by working with a concrete and a screw pier company. With over ten years in the industry and a licence in underpinning and piering. Mat established MRN Excavations to offer a diverse range of services, including detailed excavations, screw piers, landscape excavations, and sandstone block walls, focusing predominantly on screw piers.
